Parents will find links to files such as the class brochure, study guides, project assignments and rubrics to help them better assist their children at home.  Parents can also see the topics taught in each year and helpful information about classes, grading and assessments.

Students will find homework listings for the term and links to assist them with projects.  There are also textbook resource links, study guides, and photo albums of labs and activities.

Meet the Teacher

Mr. Markow teaches science and math in grades five through eight at Lee H. Kellogg School. 

He has had a passion for science since kindergarten, beginning with dinosaurs and extending into marine life, aquatic creatures and woodland wildlife.  He studied zoology in college and ecology in graduate school.  Most of his research has focused on amphibians of Connecticut and Massachusetts.  He has also assisted with bird, insect and reptile studies in the Caribbean.

Mr. Markow is a site coordinator for the Connecticut Amphibian Monitoring Project.
